Assembler Colorful has released its GeForce GTX 980Ti iGame Ymir-X with a factory overclock and a heatsink that promises great cooling capacity.
The card occupies two expansion slots as usual in the high-end range and has a heatsink with three fans in charge of cooling an aluminum fin radiator that is crossed by six 8mm thick nickel-plated copper heatpipes. The set is completed with a rear backplate that improves aesthetics and provides rigidity to the card.
If we focus on the PCB of the card we see a 14-phase power VRM that is powered by two 8-pin connectors, a combination that ensures enough power and stability to achieve a good dose of overclocking. The rest of the features include dual BIOS, an LED lighting system that indicates the card's charge level and serial frequencies of 1127 MHz / 1217 MHz in the core and 7 GHz in its 6 GB of GDDR5 memory.
