The technologies developed during the cryptocurrency mining boom can be easily applied to other segments. Comino, which last year demonstrated its liquid-cooled mining servers, is no longer exclusively focused on mining, but is looking for the succulent streaming service segment of miniature liquid-cooled high-end PCs and games.

Comino was previously dedicated to mini-ITX equipment for mining

Comino's Otto Mini-ITX system includes the Intel Core i9-9900K eight-core processor accompanied by ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2080 Ti OC Edition graphics card, 16GB of DDR4-3600 G.Skill memory, a Samsung 970 EVO SSD 1TB and Seagate FireCuda 2TB Hybrid. The PC is powered by Corsair's 750W SFX power supply .

Measuring 190 × 211 × 399 mm, the Comino Otto comes in a custom GMST box designed by Comino himself and developed specifically for the company's cooling system. The latter consists of the GMST MB Fullcover WB01 water block, designed for the Intel Core i9-9900K CPU and the ROG Strix Z390-I Gaming motherboard from ASUS. The GMST GPU water block is the Fullcover WB01 for the aforementioned ASUS RTX 2080 Ti graphics card and Black Ice radiators with Noctua fans. One important thing to mention about the cooling system is that, being designed specifically for particular components (something Comino is especially proud of), it promises to offer maximum efficiency while remaining totally silent.

The Otto from Comino are assembled in Riga, Latvia, and will be available for around 3, 300 euros in November (excluding VAT and shipping costs). The company promises that it will be available worldwide and not just for Europe.
