Comparison: iocean x7 hd vs nokia lumia 520
From this moment we will give way to several terminals of the Lumia family. One by one they will face the King of our particular ring in some way. This is the Nokia Lumia 520, the smallest of the lineage to which we will gradually reel in this article. So let's see if it lives up to our iOcean X7 HD and if its quality / price ratio is positive and proportional to our host. We begin:
Designs: the iOcean X7HD has dimensions of 141 mm high × 69 × 8.95 millimeters thick. The Lumia 520 has a bottom size of 119.9 mm high x 64 mm wide x 9.9 mm thick and weighs 124 grams. The body of the X7 is metallic while that of the Lumia is made of plastic, which gives them both a certain robustness. The Nokia model is available in various colors: yellow, red, blue, black and white.
Cameras: Regarding the size of the main sensor, the X7 HD is also victorious thanks to its 8 megapixels that has a focal aperture of f / 2.2 and an LED flash, compared to the 5 megapixels of the Lumia 520, which has an aperture of f / 2.4 and lacks an LED flash. The front camera of the iOcean has 2 megapixels, very useful for video conferencing or some photography, while in the case of the Lumia 520 it is conspicuous by its absence. The Nokia model also performs video recording at 720p.
Screens: in terms of size and resolution, the iOcean is a champion thanks to its 5 inches and 1280 x 720 pixels, compared to the 4 inches and 800 x 480 pixels of the Nokia Lumia 520. Both are accompanied by IPS technology, which provides them with colors very vivid and an almost complete viewing angle. The iOcean's display is also OGS, allowing it to consume less power. For its part, the Lumia also has other functions such as brightness control, ambient light sensor and super-sensitive screen.
Processor: The iOcean features a 1.30 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 SoC and a Mali400MP2 graphics chip . It is also accompanied by 1 GB of RAM and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean as the operating system. The Lumia for its part has a Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core CPU at 1 GHz. Its RAM is 512 MB and as an operating system it brings Windows Phone 8.
Batteries : the Asian company offers us the possibility to choose between a 2000 mAh capacity battery or another 3000 mAh battery. The one of the Lumia however has only 1430 mAh, although being a not too powerful terminal, it will be able to hold quite long, as long as we do not spend the day playing or playing video.
Internal memories : in this regard they are completely different, with the iOcean X7HD with 4 GB of ROM and the Lumia 520 with 8 GB . In both cases the internal memory has possibilities to expand, up to 32 GB in the case of the Chinese model and up to 64 GB if we refer to the Nokia, in addition to free 7 GB cloud storage .
Connectivity : both smartphones have basic connections that we are used to like the WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth or FM radio . Neither of them offers LTE / 4G support.
Prices and availability: it will be a long time before seeing the iOcean in our country, since in mid-January it was released in its own country (China), for a price in yuan that in exchange is slightly less than 100 euros, about 96 euros approximately. However it can be ours from the web electronicabarata.es for 154.99 euros. Another option is to purchase it directly from China for the price indicated above, without of course counting customs costs. The Nokia Lumia 520 is a terminal that has a more or less similar price, but it comes out cheaper, which compensates for the fact that it is less powerful: we have it on the official Nokia website at various prices: 135 euros in prepaid, free if we take up a contract from 20 euros / month and for 119 euros if we prefer it free.
