This time we measure the strength of our Nokia X against another model of the company and belonging to the Lumia family, the Nokia Lumia 520 terminal. We are talking about two low cost models thanks to their discreet specifications and good value for money that will not go unnoticed by users who do not demand many on a Smartphone. Let's start:

Screens: Both terminals have a 4-inch screen and a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Both are also accompanied by IPS technology, which provides them with very defined colors and an almost complete viewing angle.

Processors: The Lumia 520 features a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC and Adreno 305 GPU. The Nokia X for its part has a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 8225 dual-core 1 GHz CPU and Adreno 205 graphic chip. Both share 512 MB of RAM and differ in their operating system: Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean in the case of the Nokia X and Windows Phone 8 if we refer to the Lumia.

Design: Regarding size, the Lumia has dimensions of 119.9 mm high x 64 mm wide x 9.9 mm thick and weighs 124 grams, compared to 115.5 mm high × 63 mm wide × 10.4 mm thick and 128 grams of the Nokia X. Both terminals have a housing made of polycarbonate, a type of plastic that gives them a certain robustness. The Lumia 520 is available in several colors: yellow, red, blue, black and white, while the Nokia X has a few more colors: bright green, blue, black, yellow, bright red and white.

Its batteries are very similar in terms of capacity, being 1500 mAh in the case of the Nokia X and 1430 mAh in the case of the Lumia 520. Taking into account the rest of its characteristics, its autonomies will be very similar, if not the same.

Internal Memory: the two terminals have a single model on the market: one of 4 GB in the case of the Nokia X and one of 8 GB if we refer to the Lumia. Both have a micro SD card slot, in the case of the Lumia up to 64 GB in capacity, while the Nokia X manages with a 4 GB card included in the sales pack. The 520 also has 7GB more of free cloud storage.

Camera: we are talking about two models that have a very discreet main objective, being 5 megapixels in the case of the Lumia 520, with f / 2.4 aperture, and 3 megapixels in the case of the Nokia X. Both terminals lack a LED flash and frontal camera. The video recording is done at 720p in the case of the Lumia 520 and at a resolution of 864 x 480 pixels if we refer to the Nokia X.

Connectivity: they have basic connections such as WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth or FM radio , both lacking 4G / LTE technology .

Availability and price: the nokia Lumia 520 can be found on the pccomponentes website with prices ranging from 111 to 129 euros free and depending on the color available. We are talking about a very humble terminal in terms of its specifications, with a very competitive price and intended for users who do not seek to make very sophisticated use of their Smartphone.
