Comparison: oneplus one vs motorola moto g
Table of contents:
Today we started the comparisons of the newcomer to Professional Review Oneplus One with the help of a classic on our website: the Motorola Moto G. Although the Moto is a terminal with good specifications, we will gradually check how it is not capable of shading the Oneplus; no matter how hard you try you are outplayed one after another by our new host. But we like to be broad-minded and we are not going to look only at which of them is the best Smartphone, we are looking for something else and we were not happy until we checked which of them presented a better value for money, something that did not it always has to be clear. With that said, we start:
Technical characteristics:
Designs: The Oneplus is quite a bit bigger, having a size of 152.9 mm high x 75.9 mm wide x 8.9 mm thick and weighing 162 grams, while the Moto G has dimensions of 129.9 mm high x 65.9 mm wide x 11.6 mm thick and weighing 143 grams. The Motorola has two protective housings: the "Grip Shell " that has small "stops" to facilitate placing the smartphone face down avoiding scratches, and another case known as the " Flip Shell " that allows us to completely close the terminal except for its front, thus allowing us to use the screen without any problem. The Oneplus features a chrome outer rim body with subtle curves and a slim profile. It is available in black and white.
Screens: The 4.5 inches of the Moto G are small next to the 5.5 inches that the Oneplus screen presents. They do not share the same resolution either, being Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels in the case of the One and 1280 x 720 pixels if we refer to the Moto G. The One also features IPS technology, which gives it a wide viewing angle and bright colors. And to finish we must add that the Oneplus also features protective glass made by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Cameras: The main sensor of the Oneplus is made by Sony and has a resolution of 13 megapixels, focal aperture f / 2.0 and a Dual LED flash. The Moto G is much more modest, staying at 5 megapixels, also accompanied by an LED flash. The exact same thing happens with their front cameras, with 5 megapixels in the case of the One and 1.3 megapixels if we refer to the Moto G. The two phones make video recordings, in 4K quality with slow motion in 720p at 120fps in the case of Oneplus and in HD 720p quality up to 30fps if we refer to the Moto G.
Processors: Although they share a manufacturer, the Oneplus is quite superior in this regard thanks to its quad-core Q ualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC that runs at 2.5 GHz, while the Moto G features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 CPU at 1 core, 6 GHz. The Adreno 330 graphics chip makes an appearance on the One, and the Adreno 305 on the Moto G. The 3 GB of RAM of the Oneplus triples the capacity of the Motorola model, of 1 GB. The CyanogenMod 11S operating system (based on Android 4.4) accompanies the One, while the Moto G is backed by Android in version 4.3 Jelly Bean.
Connectivity: the two smartphones have basic connections such as 3G , WiFi or Bluetooth , and 4G / LTE technology is also available only in the case of Oneplus .
Internal Memories: both phones have two models for sale, coinciding in the fact of presenting one of 16 GB, to which we must add another 8 GB in the case of Moto G and another 64 GB if we refer to the Oneplus Both smartphones lack a microSD card slot, although the Motorola terminal suffers from this lack with a free storage of 50 GB on Google Drive.
WE RECOMMEND YOU The OnePlus 6 has sold 1 million units in 22 daysBatteries: the 3100 mAh of capacity contained in the Oneplus battery give a real review of the Moto G and its 2070 mAh. Despite the One's higher performance, it is assumed that its autonomy will be significantly higher.
