Comparison: xiaomi mi 4 vs motorola moto e
Table of contents:
After the return of the Motorola Moto G to our website to demonstrate its worth against the Xiaomi Mi 4, this time it is the turn of the Motorola Moto E to review the Chinese terminal. The difference between the two smartphones is more than evident, as is their cost, as we will see after exposing each of their characteristics. The question now is: which of them has a better value for money? Will it be by "economic logic" the cheapest terminal? Well, let's go step by step before reaching a wrong conclusion, we start:
Technical characteristics:
Designs: the 139.2 mm high x 68.5 mm wide x 8.9 mm thick and the 149 grams of weight of the Xiaomi make it a larger Smartphone than the Motorola, which has dimensions of 124, 8 mm high x 64.8 mm wide x 12.3 mm thick. The Mi 4 features a body that features a stainless steel reinforced frame accompanied by a plastic back cover. Available in white color. The Moto E for its part has a body made of plastic with a rubbery back, which facilitates grip. It is available in black and white .
Screens: the 4.3 inches of the Moto E fall short next to the 5 inches that the Xiaomi screen presents. They do not share the same resolution either, being 1920 x 1080 pixels in the Xiaomi case and 960 x 540 pixels if we we refer to the Moto E. Both have IPS technology, which gives them an almost complete viewing angle and very vivid colors. The Motorola terminal for its part also features Corning Gorilla Glass 3, which protects it from bumps and scratches.
Cameras: The rear lens of the Mi 4 has 13 megapixels, making it superior to that of the Moto E, which has 5 megapixels, coinciding in the fact that it has an LED flash. As for the front lenses, the difference is such that the Motorola model lacks this feature, while the Mi 4 has more than enough 8 megapixels, great for making video calls and selfies. The two phones make video recordings, in 4K quality in the case of the Xiaomi and with HD 720p resolution up to 30 fps if we refer to the Moto E.
Processors: Although they are from the same manufacturer, they show quite obvious differences, since a Q ualcomm Snapdragon 801 Quad-core at 2.5 GHz accompanies the Xiaomi, while a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 dual-core CPU that runs at 1.2 GHz does the same with the Moto E. The same thing happens with its graphics chips: Adreno 330 and Adreno 302 respectively. The memory of the Mi 4 is 3 GB, while that of the Motorola is 1 GB. The MIUI 6 operating system (based on Android 4.4.2) accompanies the Xiaomi while the Moto E manages with Android in version 4.4. 2 KitKat.
Batteries: The 1980 mAh of capacity presented by the Moto E is not enough to reach the excellent 3080 mAh that the Xiaomi battery contains and that will undoubtedly give it a greater autonomy.
Internal Memories: the Moto E only has a 4 GB ROM model on the market - expandable up to 32 GB through microSD cards -, while the Oneplus has a 16 GB and a 64 GB terminal for sale, without possibility of expansion.
WE RECOMMEND OnePlus 6 vs OnePlus 5T: Which of the two is better?Connectivity: in addition to the connections that we are already used to like 3G , WiFi , Micro USB or Bluetooth , in the case of the Xiaomi we can also talk about 4G / LTE technology .
Availability and price:
The Xiaomi Mi 4 is available in Spain through the website of its official distributor (xiaomiespaña.com) for a price of 381 euros (16 GB model). The Moto E for its part can be ours from the website of pccomponentes for a much lower price of 115 euros.
