Corsair Commander Pro is an excellent controller that will provide us with fine hardware control of the different devices that we have on our PC such as fans, temperature sensors, multiple USB devices and the acclaimed LED strips that give an unsurpassed aesthetic. Corsair Commander Pro Unboxing and Design

Corsair Commander Pro comes to us with the usual presentation of the manufacturer, the box combines the corporate colors of the brand and takes advantage of their faces to put the logo together with several images of the product, the most important characteristics are also detailed.

Once we open the box we find the following bundle:

Corsair Commander Pro includes six 4-pin fan ports, thus allowing us to control the speed of the fans of our system in a very simple way and without the need to install large and bulky independent drivers. The speed of the fans can be changed from maximum to standstill, thus giving us great freedom in choosing whether we want to maximize cooling or whether we prefer great silence.

Temperature is one of the key parameters to monitor on a PC, the Corsair guys know this and for this reason the Corsair Commander Pro offers the possibility of connecting up to a maximum of four temperature sensors, with which we can know the heating status of our processor, the graphics card, the motherboard and everything that includes a temperature probe.

We continue with the LED lighting that is so fashionable today, the Corsair Commander Pro includes compatibility with dual-channel lighting systems, thanks to which we can connect several LED strips purchased separately or we can even control the lighting of other parts such as fans.

Corsair Commander Pro connects to the motherboard through an internal USB header, that is, we can manage a large number of devices occupying only one internal port of our motherboard. Its operation is based on the advanced Corsair Link software, this manufacturer has already proven on several occasions that it is one of the best in terms of software creation, so we can only expect very powerful and intuitive operation.

Despite being such a versatile device, the Corsair Commander Pro has a very compact design that will allow you to install it anywhere on your system. Its measurements are 133 mm x 69 mm x 15.5 mm. It is compatible with Windows 10, Windows 8 and Windows 7 operating systems.

In total it includes the following connection ports:

CORSAIR Lighting Node PRO

We have also received an RGB LED light kit. Exactly the Corsair Lighting Node PRO model that includes a total of two pairs of LED strips that can be attached or used depending on our needs. Inside we will find:

Four LED strips. Wired for operation. Node for connection and power supply.

The Corsair Lighting Node PRO offers individual RGB lighting that can be controlled via separate software. In this way it allows us to enjoy different lighting effects on our computer.

Each RGB LED strip can be controlled separately to reproduce different animations and lighting effects independently.

As you can see it incorporates a silicone protection. This material will be great for us both to clean and if the liquid in our liquid refrigeration accidentally spills. We leave you the connections of each LED strip. To connect it we just have to connect it to the mounting node, power it through the SATA connection and its control by Corsair Link via USB 2.0.

To finish we have decided to use three Corsair HD140 RGB fans to increase the effectiveness of our cooling and lighting of the entire setup.

Assembly and installation

Final words and conclusion about Corsair Commander Pro

The Corsair Commander Pro has left us a great taste in the mouth, so much so that we will leave it as one of our high-performance teams mounted. We liked the lighting quality, the LEDs and their customization.

Currently we can find the Corsair Commander Pro digital controller for a price of 90.39 euros. While the four throw led with the extenders for a price of 63 euros. It is true that they are not a cheap option but it offers us a great combination of RGB lighting.
