Unboxing and design

Corsair has us accustomed to presentations of remarkable height and this time it was not going to be different. The Dominator Platinum RGB comes in a sturdy box dominated by the colorful RGB system of RAM memory modules. The box gives us a small spoiler that is a 32 GB kit and has support for the renewed iCUE Software.

We have used a top of the range Z390 motherboard and an i9-9900K processor that we have been using for many months in our test bench. All results have been passed with the 3600 MHz profile and the applied voltage of 1.35V in Dual Channel. Let's go see them!

ICUE software

Corsair iCUE is the software in charge of managing all the Corsair components of our system. It allows us to monitor all the components and adjust the products with support for LED lighting certified by the brand itself.

In the first tab it allows us to check what RAM we have installed and in what format. In our case it detects that we are in a Dual Channel system and we have the 4 modules mounted.

In the lighting section we can see that we can individually assign an effect or do it for everyone. There are a wide variety of options, we can choose between a large color palette and the speed of the transition.

Although the memories are CL16 it has one of the profiles that allows a small overclock to CL15. Gaining a little performance plus performance. It is appreciated because many users try to squeeze their components to the maximum, although they do not know that RAM is one of the most delicate components and that it may possibly fail to overclock.
