To test the real performance of the heatsink we are going to stress the best processor on the market: the Intel Skylake i7-6700k. Our tests consist of 72 uninterrupted hours of work. In stock values ​​and with overclock 4500 mhz. In this way, we can observe the highest temperature peaks and the average that the heatsink reaches. We must bear in mind that when playing or using other types of software, the temperature will drop dramatically between 7 to 12ºC.

How are we going to measure the processor temperature?

We will use the internal sensors of the processor. For that test on Intel processors we will use the CPUID HwMonitor application in its latest version. Although it is not the most reliable test of the moment, it will be our reference in all our analyzes. The ambient temperature is 21º.

With the fans we can see that we have obtained a great performance. At rest we have barely had 23ºC while at maximum performance we have exceeded 53ºC.

When we have already overclocked we have noticed that the temperatures have risen 26ºC and 67ºC respectively, but we remember that we are talking about nothing more or nothing less than 4500 MHz. We would also like you to notice that by including two Corsair ML PRO fans we have scratched several degrees and we have gained quite a presence.

At the beginning of the year Corsair decided to make an abrupt change in its software. We started with a renewed design and with many options for engines. For those of you who don't know, the software allows us to measure the lines of your power supply (If your power supply is Corsair and it has the tag "i") and the consumption for each one of them.

Now with the cooling kits it allows us to see temperatures and at what speed the pump in the block runs. It also allows us to review temperatures of hard drives, SSD, cooling, processor (with each of its cores) with a single click. It also has a section for profiles, personalization and notification settings. A marvel!
