Corsair LL120 RGB technical specifications
Unboxing and design
The Corsair LL120 RGB they arrive protected in a compact cardboard box. On its cover we see an image of the three fans running, the model purchased and the main specifications.
While in the rear area we find a brief explanation of its technical characteristics.
Once we open the box we find the following bundle:
- Three Corsair LL120 RGB fans. Instruction guide. 3M stickers. Controller for 6 fans. USB cable for power supply.
These new Corsair LL120 RGB fans are based on a renewed design that includes nine blades that have been created to generate a large air flow. They also serve to maintain a low noise level at a rotational speed of 600 to 1500 RPM.
In this case it uses hydraulic bearing they are good, but they are not as good as the magnetic ones. It is the price to have a greater illumination, although we hope that Corsair will launch magnetic ones with an RGB system as good as this one.
These new Corsair fans are capable of generating an air flow between 43.25 CFM with a static pressure of 1.61 mm H20 and a very low noise of 24.8 dBA in its 120 mm version. They are also available in a 140mm size to meet the needs of large numbers of users with lower loudness and possible better performance.
We leave you a detail of its 4-pin PWM cable and its internal controller.
We also highlight its availability with 16 independent RGB LED lighting in each fan, divided into two light halos allowing customization that identifies you with your internal components.
Although we can write a thousand words about the fans, there is nothing better than some photos so you can see how interesting they are mounted on a Corsair H100i V2 radiator.

For the tests we will use the native controller of the Z370 chipset on a high-performance board: Asus Maximus X APEX. In our tests they will be carried out with the renewed cooler: Corsair H100i V2. The results have been very good, not excellent, but considering their lighting characteristics they perform very well:
Final words and conclusion about Corsair LL120 RGB
We are many users who consider that one of the most important aspects is to have good ventilation in our system. Correct air flow ensures that the operating temperatures of all our hardware are kept at their correct levels to ensure proper operation and to avoid fatal damage. But if we also add good lighting, the Corsair LL120 RGB becomes a great option.
In our performance tests we have seen that we have obtained with an Intel Core i7 8700k 28 ºC at idle and at maximum performance (in stock) at 71 ºC. They are more than good results.
It is important to remember that for the RGB system to work optimally, we must install both the RGB controller and the control panel to the internal USB system of your motherboard. It really is worth it, but if you also combine it with a Corsair Crystal series box, we have a color system that removes the hiccups.
We recommend reading the best heatsinks and liquid coolers on the market
Currently the sale price of this pack of three fans is 99.90 euros. It is not a cheap price but it is surely a quite profitable option for those users who are looking for quality and first class lighting.
