Unboxing and design

The Corsair SP120 RGB have a gala presentation with a box of small dimensions and that on its cover we have all kinds of details.

While in the back of the box we find all its most important technical characteristics.

Once we open the box we find 4 sections, three of them incorporate a Corsair SP120 RGB fan while the fourth we see the controller, remote, accessories and hardware necessary for its perfect installation. The bundle is made up of:

Corsair SP120 RGB fan. Instruction manual and warranty booklet. Accessories and screws for installation. Wired controller and fan controller.

The Corsair SP120 RGB are about fans with dimensions of 120 x 120 x 25 mm and that come to meet the needs of good performance inside your PC and give a unique lighting effect.

Its bearing system is the classic static pressure and is capable of rotating from 800 RPM to 1725 RPM, it exerted a static pressure of 2.25 mmH20, an air flow of 54.4 CFM and a minimum loudness of 18 CFM up to 30 dBa at maximum power.

The fans have two very important premises to know, the first is that an outstanding high performance high static pressure: It offers superior performance compared to standard chassis fans. While excellent quiet performance, using ultra-thin blades that reduce vibration, noise and turbulence.

The remote can be fixed inside the box, thanks to the 3M sticker that it brings, or we can leave it loose (not recommended). This allows us to customize the speed, colors and modes .

Lighting is one of its strongest points, and although it does not allow us to configure as many as the Corsair HD 120 RGB fans, we do have up to 7 color profiles , which we can later change via software.

Final words and conclusion about Corsair SP120 RGB

The new Corsair SP120 RGB fans will give a lot of joy to users who want a colorful and eye-catching box. Also to those users who do MOD professionally and who will give a very striking touch to their creations.

In our tests we have observed that the Corsair ML120 PRO we analyzed a few weeks ago is not far in temperature performance. Although it must be said that the motor sounds a little more and releases a higher air flow, but we compensate it with its RGB lighting system.

Currently we can find the pack of three fans plus controller for approximately 65 euros, it is not a bad price considering the quality of the product. If you want to buy a single unit it would cost us almost 19 euros, so it is more expensive to buy the pack of 3 since it incorporates the controller.
