After the analysis of the Corsair M65 ELITE and other new releases of the brand, it is time for its star mat, the Corsair MM350 Extended XL. Available in various sizes and has a careful design and a surface that will allow us to move quickly. This Extended XL is the largest version available. We are going to thoroughly analyze this gaming mat intended for the most demanding users.

Unboxing and design

This Corsair MM350 Extended XL will come to us in a square box and as long as the width of the product, that is 40 cm. The mat, in all its versions, will of course come rolled inside it, and stored in a plastic bag to protect the materials with which it is built.

The flexible cardboard box with a window to see the product from the outside, is designed in the corporate colors yellow and black, letting us see some characteristics of the product.

As we have mentioned, we have the Corsair MM350 Extended XL version, which has measurements of no less than 930 x 400 mm and a considerable weight. These measures are ideal to cover the entire area of peripherals such as mouse and keyboard, avoiding movements and slipping on wooden surfaces, making it ideal for gaming setups where we need that extra comfort and security.

The displacement zone is woven with textile material with a low coefficient of friction and a tremendously small point granulation to offer us the maximum benefits with mice with resolutions of 1 dpi. In this way we can get the most out of a good mouse without the mat limiting the benefits.

Likewise, the entire sliding surface has a very gaming aspect through its graphic in which gray colors with a worn appearance predominate and a high-resolution piece of the brand's logo in the lower right corner.

The thickness of this mat is 5 mm, making it ideal for placing on uneven surfaces. The ground contact area is made of plush rubber with a grooving that will provide us with a non-slip surface on practically any material. Thus we have verified it meditate surfaces of wood, metal and glass, and in all of them we have had a very firm surface and without any movement.

If we look at the entire side edge, we will see that it is woven in high precision and density thread to maximize the durability of the edges of the mat. Both this model and the smaller ones will have the same finishes and quality of materials.

We will also have a 450 x 400 mm X-Large version that will allow us to move our mouse quite widely without occupying the entire workspace that we will have.

Without a doubt, in our opinion, it is one of the best mats that we have tested so far, its sliding area is valid for both optical and laser mice and we have a huge work surface with a design that will not tire our eyes.

Corsair knows what it does, and proof of this are the characteristics of this product, and with a fairly adjusted price if we consider that the quality of materials is very good. With its 5 mm thickness, the comfort of use is very good, since it is soft to the touch, but firm and smooth for the gliding of a mouse.

We have run pixel skipping tests with the Corsair M65 ELITE on it and have absolutely not noticed any sensor inaccuracy issues, both with the calibrated and uncalibrated surface. The slide, as we have said, is very good for light and heavy mice without at any time losing our control as weights on wood usually do.

In general, the design and construction did not like it very much, and perhaps we were deferring to be aware of whether the rubber that it supports on the ground will be of sufficient quality to not pass over time, it is something that obviously we will have to see using this product after a long time.

We can get it for a price of 40 euros just out of the oven, a really good price if you take into account that it is extra large and its finish is in non-slip fabric and rubber.
