Corsair RM750X
Corsair makes an excellent presentation with a large cardboard box. On the cover we find an image of the power supply, the name of the model and and the watts of power. Already on the back it indicates all the most important specifications and features.
Once we open the box we find another standard cardboard box that houses the power supply and all its accessories. I detail the content of it a little better:
- Corsair RM750x power supply. Modular Cable Kit Set Instruction Manual Power Cord and Screws for Installation
We have a power supply with a standard ATX design but it is a bit more elongated than we are used to. Its complete dimensions are: 150mm x 86mm x 180mm and a considerable weight close to 1.93kg. Like the RMi digital design, gray and black colors predominate giving a simple touch that combines with any element.
How is it different from the rest of the power supply? We start with its 80 PLUS GOLD efficiency features which guarantees us excellent durability (7 years warranty) and premium Japanese components. The core is manufactured by the prestigious CWT brand and is 100% compatible with Intel Haswell-E (LGA 2011-3), Skylake (LGA 1151) and earlier platforms.
It incorporates a single 62.5A rail that will provide a total of 750w actual. The cooling In the upper area we find the well-known ultra-quiet 135mm fan, to be exact it is the NR135P self-regulating (PWM) model and with semi-fan less technology that allows the fan to be stopped at low load and only activate when the temperature rises to 50ºC. I did not expect less and it has 100% Japanese capacitors with support up to 105ºC, without a doubt this design will give us stability and above all tranquility.
The management of the wiring is totally modular, which allows us to make assemblies with an excellent quality of finishes. What it does not incorporate is the Corsair Link technology, it really is a clone of the RMi series source but without this technology, which implies economic savings.
The wiring set is as follows:
- ATX connector 1 EPS connector 2 Floppy connector 2 Four-pin peripheral connector 8 PCI connector 6 SATA connector 10

Final words and conclusion
The Corsair RM750X is a high-end power supply with a minimalist design and top-notch components. Just a few weeks ago we tested the Corsair RM850i source, so we can tell you that it is exactly the same as this series but it is different because it does not include Corsair Link technology, which allows it to be cheaper.
We highlight its excellent Japanese components, a core manufactured by CWT, a 130mm fan that stands idle and modular cable management. In our tests with an i5-6600k processor and a high-performance graphics card, it has obtained excellent values.
If you're looking for a top-notch power supply, the Corsair RM750X should be among your candidates for both its excellent components, low noise, and 7-year warranty. Its price will range between approximately 125 and 135 euros .
