Just as the SFX form factor was starting to gain traction in the PC market, power needs began to rise, so these types of power supplies were left for compact equipment. This trend is beginning to change thanks to products such as the Corsair SF750W, a 750W 80+ Platinum certified power supply .

Corsair SF750W, a 750W 80+ Platinum certified power supply.

Thanks to a combination of clever design and some engineering know-how, Corsair appears to have brought together 150W of extra power in its SF series of Small Format Power Supplies (SFX), with its new SF750W power supply appearing in both jd. com as in the chiphell forums.

What's even more impressive is that this new power supply maintains 80+ Platinum efficiency certification, all with 25% more power in the same 125mm x 63.5mm x 100mm SFX format (width x height x depth). Corsair did not need to extend its unit to the non-standard SFX-L form factor.

Corsair has added an additional 8-pin output that could support either a 6 + 2 PCIe connector or a 4 + 4-pin EPS / CPU connector, as well as an optional 6-pin SATA cable or other peripherals.

The source is completely modular, so we can use only the cables we need by connecting them to one of the sides of the power supply.

This new Corsair product would be unveiled at CES 2019.
