SilverStone already has the SX700-G power supply available, which the company claims to be the most powerful power supply in an SFX form factor, with a nominal capacity of 700W.

SilverStone SX700-G - 700W source in SFX format

This unit is designed for compact equipment with state-of-the-art hardware, including up to two high-end graphics cards. Its fully modular cabling includes four 6 + 2-pin PCIe power cables, one 4 + 4-pin EPS, one 24-pin ATX, six SATA power cables, three Molexes, and one Berg. Under the hood, the SX700-G has a unique + 12V rail design, with 700W of power rating only for this 58.4A rail and 110W for the + 3.3V and + 5V rails. The unit has an efficiency of 80 Plus Gold, which ensures great stability under any workload.

In addition to the active PFC, some functions are being obtained to protect sources of overvoltage or undervoltage, overheating and short circuits. To keep temperatures stable inside these sources, a 92mm fluid-dynamic bearing fan with a minimum noise emission of 18 dBA is used.

Launches in December in Europe at a cost of 139.99 euros

Fonts in SFX format are ideal for assembling compact equipment and are becoming increasingly popular. Now that really powerful fonts are starting to come out in this format, several manufacturers are starting to release them more regularly.

SilverStone will launch the SX700-G for the first time in North America in mid-December, and will be available in Europe two weeks later. In the United States, the price will be $ 159.99 and € 139.99 (excluding VAT) in the EU.
