After a while without trying new fans… the new Corsair SP140 RGB PRO has fallen into our hands : fans with a size of 140 mm, high-quality bearings, low noise and with a slightly intrusive RGB design.
Will it measure up to other fans we've tested? Let's start with the analysis!
We thank Corsair Spain for trusting the product for its analysis.

Unboxing and design
The Corsair SP140 RGB PRO are presented in a box with a compact size and where the corporate colors of the American company stand out. On the cover we see an image of the product in operation, the model itself and its main certifications.
While in the back of the box we can see a brief explanation of its specifications in different languages.
Currently there are two versions to buy, the 120 mm or the 140 mm model. On this occasion, we have the 14 cm version. And is that once we open the box we find the following content:

To have a quiet PC with a good air flow for our high-end parts, we need to have good ventilation in our system. For example, having a correct air flow ensures that the operating temperatures of all our hardware are kept at their correct levels to ensure proper operation and avoid overheating of critical components such as the processor or graphics card.
In this sense, the fans are a key piece, since they are in charge of generating the air flow, so we will need units capable of moving a lot of air flow and with very quiet operation. The new Corsair SP140 RGB PRO fans are born to cover along with its new Corsair 220T chassis to improve this air flow. We will talk about this box in another article?
The Corsair SP140 RGB PRO is based on a renewed design that includes nine blades that have been created to generate a large air flow while maintaining a low noise level at a rotation speed of 1150 RPM and a loudness of 26 dBA.
We would have liked to see a motor with magnetic bearings that gave us such good performance years ago in the ML PRO series. But this time we have a hydraulic one, which to be honest… is one of the best we have tried within this range.
These new Corsair fans are capable of generating 62 CFM airflow with a static pressure of 0.3 to 1.43mm H20 and a very low noise of 26dBA in this 140mm version.
As expected in the latest Corsair releases, it features Lighting Node Core technology. If you are new and do not know this "device", don't worry, we will explain it to you right now. This node is used to control the entire lighting system with Corsair fans. It has no extra function, just control RGB lighting.
Thanks to the node and the 16 RGB LEDs in each fan, we can have a wide combination of colors and effects. At last we see a fan with lighting system and exceptional performance.

Final words and conclusion about Corsair SP140 RGB PRO
Finally we find a good kit of fans with an excellent lighting system. The Corsair SP140 RGB PRO kit consists of two 140mm fans, a very good hydraulic motor and a total of 9 blades that have given us an exceptional result in our tests.
They are perfect fans to fix on the chassis, although you can connect it directly to the radiator of your PC or to your heatsink, we believe that their best function is to push or expel air in our PC case.
We recommend reading the best heatsinks on the market
The incorporation of the Lighting node Core offers us a wide range of possibilities at the personalization level. We can get all the juice out of our RGB system at the click of a button with iCUE software.
Currently we can find the fan kit on Amazon for 48.59 euros. Without a doubt, an excellent option to improve the air flow of your computer. What do you think of these fans?
