Unboxing and design

The Corsair T2 Road Warrior chair is presented in a large cardboard box, the chair comes completely disassembled, so we will have to spend some time assembling it. We open the box and we find all the pieces very well arranged and protected by bags and pieces of very good quality foam to avoid damage while transporting it to the end user. Corsair wants to make assembly as easy as possible, which is why it has included an instruction booklet and all the tools we will need.

Inside the box we find the following pieces:

Corsair T2 Road Warrior is a gaming chair of the best quality that has been designed to be very comfortable, there are many users who have to spend many hours in front of the monitor every day, so having a good chair is very important to avoid back problems among others. This chair comes with the label gaming, but it is recommended for all users who work with the PC.

The construction of the Corsair T2 Road Warrior is based on the best quality steel skeleton, this makes it very resistant with a capacity to support up to 120 kilos of weight with a total weight of the saddle of only 14 kilos.

Like all chairs of this type, its base consists of a five-pointed star made of steel so that it is very resistant, it will be in this star where we will place the gas piston that will be attached at the other end to the seat. In the star we can also use the five wheels attached by the manufacturer, which will help us move the chair effortlessly.

The wheels are nylon and have been manufactured with a design that makes them very resistant, while preventing them from damaging our floor. To put the wheels, we only have to introduce them in the holes that are in each of the tips of the star, then we give a slight blow with the hand and they will be perfectly fixed. In the center of the star we place the cylinder with the gas piston and its trim.

The next step will be to mount the seat and backrest assembly, we recommend firstly to mount the butterfly-shaped part on the seat that serves to fix the seat to the gas piston, this part is screwed to the bottom of the seat of a very simple way. It is the typical piece that all the chairs of this style carry and that includes a lever that will serve to actuate the gas piston and be able to raise and lower the chair.

Next, we can already join the seat and the backrest, for this we will use four screws. The back is attached to the metal joint that presents the seat, this joint will be the one that then allows us to recline the back for greater comfort, as we can see in the photos, a small lever has been included to release this mechanism and be able to adjust backrest position.

Both the seat and backrest of the Corsair T2 Road Warrior are based on a design thought to offer the best quality and great comfort. Both are made with polyurethane foam on the inside and a 3D PVC Leather coating on the outside. Its upholstery is diamond-shaped and very soft. The chair is available in various color combinations so that each user can choose the one they like best.

The backrest has two large holes in the upper area, this will help achieve better air circulation, to reduce sweating in hotter times such as summer.

Finally, we see the armrests, these come already mounted on the seat so they are ready to be used. They are made of plastic and offer movement in four directions, thanks to this, the user can adjust their position perfectly to obtain great comfort of use.

Assembly and experience

We really liked Corsair uploading a video at the launch of the Corsair T2 Road Warrior. It has helped us a lot with mounting and seeing some pretty useful tricks. Great job guys!

Our experience? The assembly has been simple and in just half an hour we have the chair fully operational. In the office we have the Corsair T1 Race and this new version is infinitely more comfortable, at least for users who are “wide-boned”:-P. Personally I am thinking of keeping it as my main chair… What a great experience!

The Corsair T2 Road Warrior arrives to meet the needs of the most demanding users. With a wider seat, a higher backrest and the possibility to choose between several colors: Black / Black, Black / Blue, Black / Yellow, Black / Red and Black / White. They make it the best chair we have tested.

We liked that it incorporates two adjustable cushions for both the lower back and the neck. The fabric is very soft microfiber and is very pleasant to the touch. Does the chair allow us more positions? Yes, we can recline the seat up to 170 degrees. In other words, we can take a nap quite "managed" without any problem.

Is the Corsair T2 Road Warrior worth it? Without a doubt, as we have mentioned, it is the best chair we have ever tried. At the moment we have not seen it listed in the main online stores. But it is estimated that it will be launched at a price of 339.90 euros in Spain. It is a high price, but if you are looking for the best of the best, this is your chair.
