Corsair Vengeance RGB technical characteristics
Unboxing and design
Corsair uses its corporate colors (yellow and black) for its primary packaging. On the cover we find an image of the memory module illuminated in white, along with the capacity and speed of the kit.
While at the back we see all the main technical characteristics in different languages.
Once we open the box we find:
- Two Corsair Vengeance LED DDR4 modules. Plastic blister to protect it during transport.
The pack consists of four DDR4 modules of 8GB each, for a total of 32GB. They are proven to run at a frequency of up to 3000 Mhz and a latency CL15 (15-17-17-35) with a voltage ranging from 1.20 v that can vary according to its speed up to 1.35 v.
As expected, the modules are 100% compatible with the new XMP 2.0 profile that integrates the new Z270 platforms and the already veteran X99. Both by design and features it is one of the best ranges of RAM memory that has passed through our hands.
The design is truly spectacular and grows beyond the inferior models of the company. Keep in mind that they are high profile memories, this means that they can collide with our heatsink. In the case of having liquid refrigeration we will not have any type of problem.
It maintains the good components that we have already analyzed in the Corsair Vengeance LED , with its PCB of up to 10 layers that gives us greater performance. Thus improving bandwidth and a much tighter response time.
The main novelty of these memories is the great customization it offers us, compared to other models. The Corsair Vengeance LED DDR4 Kit allows us to choose between 16.8 million colors via software. In addition to numerous fully customized effects to our liking.

We have used a top of the range Z170 motherboard and an i7-7700k processor that we have been using for many months in our test bench. All the results have been passed with the 3000 MHz profile and the applied voltage of 1.35V in Dual Channel. Let's go see them!
Final words and conclusion about Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4
The Corsair Vengeance LED DDR4 of one of the best RAM memory we have analyzed this year. It has everything you could ask for: design, cooling, customization and combines great with any component of our computer.
Keep in mind that its high-profile design may not be compatible with our heatsink, so you have to be careful when configuring your new PC or updating the memory of your PC. For example, if you use the Noctua NH-D15S or any type of liquid cooling you will not have any problem.
WE RECOMMEND YOUUS updates its Z390 motherboards to support up to 128GB DDR4The great novelty in this kit is the incorporation of RGB lighting in the upper area of the modules. Everything managed with Corsair Link and its great interface.
We also remind you that Corsair offers a lifetime warranty on all RAM memory kits (in Europe it is 10 years) under a serial number. Its price will fluctuate in online stores at 330 euros for this 32GB pack and the 16GB pack its recommended price will be 169.99 euros. Of course, everything will depend on the size, speed and latency of each kit… We hope you liked it as much as we do.
