Specifically, we have received the latest headphones released by the company: Corsair VOID Surround Hybrid that are compatible with all the video game consoles and PCs of the moment.

Corsair VOID Surround Hybrid: Unboxing and Design

The Corsair VOID Sourround Hybrid are presented in a black cardboard box and the characteristic color of the Corsair Gaming series, yellow, predominates. On the cover we have a picture of the helmets in red, the name of the product and the current compatibility.

Meanwhile, on the back are all the specifications and technical characteristics of the product. Inside we find the following bundle:

The Gamer Corsair VOID Surround Hybrid helmets have a sturdy construction in aluminum and plastic which in turn is quite light. The color chosen on this occasion has been cherry red with a little shine. The look is great and I find the color scheme better than the Corsair VOID Wireless Dolby 7.1 that we reviewed last summer.

The speakers in its neodymium interior are 50mm in size, delivering impactful sound with powerful bass and vibrant brightness. The sound quality is excellent both in stereo audio and without any distortion.

The Corsair VOID Surround Hybrid includes headband pads and microfiber padded circumaural ear pads around their 50mm speakers, which fit snugly over the head and exert light pressure all of which makes them pleasant to wear for long periods.

The buttons are on the body of the headphones (wheel to increase or decrease the volume and activate the noise cancellation function) which means that there is no control along the cable which comes with a rubberized coating and some measures of 1.8 m.

One of its great features is its Dolby 7.1 surround sound capacity, this effect is achieved through a USB adapter that connects to the PC and together with the corresponding Dolby software, creating a surround audio device.

This feature makes games more immersive, making them the ideal companion for what they play FPS and MMO- type titles , as you can hear when your enemy is coming before you can even see it.

The microphone is located on the left earcup and is flexible and adjustable. It is integrated without the possibility of removing but incorporates a unidirectional noise cancellation system that only lets you hear your voice without inserting noise from outside. Both headphones can be folded at 90 degrees, allowing easy storage of headphones.

We must first go to the Corsair official website to download the latest version of the Corsair Utility Engine (CUE) . Its installation is quite simple, it is simply give everything to the next and we will have it ready. Do not be surprised that it asks for a firmware update when you connect it to your PC, this process usually takes several seconds or minutes .

What allows us to modify this CUE? We have many options to configure. Among them are equalizer curve lines, full customization of LED colors, as well as creating multiple profiles depending on the game.
