Cyberpunk 2077 was one of the most talked about games during the E3 fair and it seems that its release on PC is not as far as we imagined. A demo of the game, behind closed doors, was shown there and it worked on a computer, which was equipped with a GTX 1080 Ti.

Cyberpunk 2077 is the new game from the creators of The Witcher

On the official Discord server, the CD community manager Projekt RED " Alicja " confirmed the specifications of the PC that was running the Cyberpunk 2077 E3 2018 demo. According to Alicja, the demo was running on an Intel i7-8700K with 32 GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti.

Unfortunately, Alicja did not reveal the graphics settings / details used or the resolution (although we expect it to be 4K) or the frame rate, which in this case may have been at 30 fps.

However, now we have an idea of the specifications that will be necessary to play this game. Our guess is that CD Projekt RED will be able to further optimize the game, although it remains to be seen if the entire / entire city will be more demanding than the E3 2018 demo that was shown, and that has not yet been revealed to the public.

Specifications for Cyberpunk 20177 in demo E3:

  • CPU: Intel i7-8700K @ 3.70Ghz Motherboard: ASOS ROG STRIX Z370-I GAMINGRAM: G.SKILL RIPJAWS V, 2X16GB, 3000Mhz, CL15GPU: NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX1080TiSSD: SAMSUNG 960 PRO 512GB M.2 PCIePSU 600WS: CORSAIR

We are talking about a top-of-the-range computer, surely to be able to enjoy Cyberpunk 2077 at the highest quality. As of yet, we don't know when the game will come out, but there is speculation that it could be in late 2019 or early 2020.
