Anonim

During the last years we have seen numerous AndroidTV devices that can be connected to a television and turn it into a computer with an Android operating system capable of running Google system applications and offering wide multimedia possibilities. Now Intel has released a similar option but based on Windows 8.1.

Intel has released mini PCs that will be about the size of a USB stick and an HDMI port through which they come to life and can be connected to a TV or monitor.

These new Intel devices are very small but this does not prevent them from hiding inside an Intel Atom Z3735F / Z3735G quad-core processor with Silvermont microarchitecture, 1 / 2GB of RAM, 16/32 GB of internal storage, a slot for microSD cards and Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11b / g / n connectivity.

As for the operating system, it is capable of running Windows 8.1, Android and Linux.

It is not yet known when they will be available and at what price.
