Deepcool is expanding its Matrexx 55 chassis series with the Matrexx 55 ADD-RGB 3F and Matrexx 55 ADD-RGB models.

Matrexx 55 ADD-RGB 3F and ADD-RGB add addressable LED lighting

Both chassis come with the latest in addressable RGB LED lighting and come pre-programmed with five lighting functions including: static, kite, breath, dynamic color and collision. They are even including an ADD-RGB lighting strip on the front to improve and increase the prominence of lighting. The control of all these RGB LEDs is done through a button incorporated in the I / O panel, however, users also have the possibility to control the LEDs through softwares such as; ASUS Aura Sync and MSI Mystic Light among others. Lastly, to make things easier for consumers, Deepcool has also made sure to support the universal 5-volt, 3-pin RGB connector along with GamerStorm's proprietary RGB connector.

Unlike the original Matrexx 55 box, both new models now feature a power supply cover that gives them an improved internal appearance. As for the differences between the ADD-RGB and the ADD-RGB 3F, there is only one and it is the three CF120 ARGB fans included in the 3F model.

Available in November from $ 50

The basic ADD-RGB model does not have pre-installed fans, that is the difference, if we already have fans that we have previously purchased, it is the option that we should choose. Aside from what has been discovered, the three Matrexx 55 chassis are essentially the same from a base design perspective, and they all use the same internal layout. All three continue to use the same two 4mm tempered glass side panels along with the same magnetic dust netting on top and dust filters on the front and bottom.

Both are expected to be available in November with the ADD-RGB 3F model costing $ 75 and the ADD-RGB about $ 50.
