When Asus recently announced a mini-PC with support for a 35-watt Intel Core i7-8700T processor , we were impressed. But it looks like you can already buy an even smaller rig with an even more powerful 45-watt Intel Core i9-8950HK chip, the EGlobal S200.

EGlobal S200 is powered by an i9-8950HK with a consumption of 45 watts

EGlobal's new computer is a 5.6 ″ x 5.3 ″ x 2.5 ″ mini-PC designed for Intel's 45-watt Coffee Lake-H chips.

It is currently possible to see one of these for purchase on AliExpress, with delivery times of up to 26 days for the West.

EGlobal S200 hardware features

Although the most powerful model includes an Intel Core i9-8950HK processor, you can also configure the system with other processors such as the Core i5-8300H, Core i7-8750HK or the Xeon E-2176M. You can also choose between a computer without memory or storage or with up to 32GB of RAM and a 1TB solid state drive.

For this reason, prices range from $ 327 to $ 1, 058 depending on the configuration chosen.

Each model includes HDMI and mini DisplayPort, Gigabit Ethernet, a USB 3.1 Type-C port, four USB 3.0 Type-A ports, and a headphone jack.

Under the hood are two SODIMM slots for memory and space for an M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe SSD and / or a 2.5-inch hard drive or solid state drive. The computer also has WiFi and Bluetooth 802.11ac to connect to the network and other computers.

The unfortunate thing is that there is no space to add any graphics card, nor externally, since there is no Thunderbolt 3 port.
