Mediatek helio x20 does not overheat
The MediaTek Helio X20 promises to be one of the most powerful mobile processors, a label that makes rivals fear it and rumors begin to emerge. Several days ago it was rumored that the processor suffered from overheating, the same problem that has haunted the Snapdragon 820. Fortunately MediaTek has denied the rumor and claims that its Helio X20 is free of problems.
However, there is a detail that will not like much and that according to your interpretation can lead to think that there have been overheating problems in the processor. The MediaTek Helio X20 consists of eight Cortex A53 cores and two Cortex A72 cores, all of which can work together to deliver very high power.
However, the 10 cores only work together for a limited time, after which the Cortex A72 cores shut down and stays on as a Cortex A72 eight-core processor. After the latter, does the MediaTek Helio X20 suffer from overheating? Surely this detail was already foreseen in the company's plans and the Helio X20 has always had to work this way, therefore it is its normal operation and there is no overheating.
Let's hope to see the MediaTek Helio X20 in action on our smartphone very soon.
