Helio x25 on the way, mediatek does not stop
2016 should be the year of MediaTek's consecration as a manufacturer of high-end processors for smartphones and tablets, if the Helio X20 has already demonstrated its benefits, the Chinese firm is already working on a vitaminized version of this chip that came with the name of Helio X25.
The MediaTek Helio X25 will be an optimized version of the Helio X20 without great changes inside, the increase in performance will come from higher working frequencies. It is probably their Cortex A53 cores that suffer the greatest increase in working frequency while the Cortex A72 cores will come with a speed much more similar to what we found in the Helio X20.
While the first smartphones equipped with the Helio X20 are already beginning to hit the market to face the most powerful processors such as the Snapdragon 820, the Exynos 8890 and the Kirin 950.
