The NVIDIA GeForce 10 series of graphics cards, also known as Pascal, has been available since May 2016. NVIDIA released both the GTX 1080 and GTX 1070, two models that make use of TSMC's new 16nm FinFET technology.

After being released, the GTX 1070 became a great choice among gamers because it was one of the more affordable options of the two. However, this year NVIDIA released the GTX 1080 Ti, a model mostly geared towards enthusiasts.

The NVIDIA GTX 1070 Ti will arrive at the end of this month with a price of about 400 euros

Now the results of a new benchmark to which a GTX 1070 Ti was subjected have emerged on the web, specifically in the 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme and Time Spy tests.

Although apparently not too apt for overclocking, the results of these benchmarks confirm that the GTX 1070 Ti will be a good choice for users who want to upgrade their gaming equipment.

According to the screenshots published on the web, the GTX 1070 Ti outperforms the AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 in the Time Spy test, in both basic and Turbo mode.

On the other hand, in the Fire Strike Extreme test, the NVIDIA GPU outperforms the RX Vega 56 in basic mode, but loses in Turbo mode.

Still, keep in mind that these are very early leaks and NVIDIA could further optimize its graphics card as we get closer to its release date.
