It is not a cyber attack

Among the data are the date of birth, address, telephone number and also information about their ethnicity or political orientation. All of them on an unprotected server.

All these data were online for a short period of time. As they affirm from the security company UpGuard nobody had access to them. They have no record that anyone has seen them. They have also confirmed that said security breach has already been rectified. So there is no danger to the data of these people.

This type of data is very important for parties in the United States. Both Republicans and Democrats have databases of this type, generally compiled by companies that survey American voters.
