Fallout 76 marks a new milestone within the Fallout franchise by betting on a fully multiplayer online game. The game will be released at the end of this month and today the minimum requirements that it will have to be able to play it on a computer have been revealed.

Fallout 76 launches on October 23 on PC

The minimum requirements have been revealed, although the recommended ones have not yet been added, but we add some that are 'estimated', so take the latter with tweezers.

Minimum requirements

  • OS: Windows 7 64-bit Processor: Core i5 2500 at 3.3 GHz or AMD FX 8320 at 3.5 GHz Memory: 8 GB of RAM Graphics card: GTX 960 with 2 GB of graphic memory or Radeon R9 285 with 2 GB of graphic memory Storage: 50 GB of space

Recommended requirements (estimates)

  • Windows 7 64-bit OS Processor: Core i7 4770 or Ryzen 5 1400 (quad-core, eight-wire) Memory: 8GB RAM Graphics card: GTX 1060 with 6GB graphics memory or Radeon RX 580 with 4GB graphics memory Storage: 50 GB of space

Just commenting on the minimum requirements, it can be said that they are within the expected, considering that Fallout 4 asked for an i5-2300, 8GB of memory. Where you do see the change is in the minimum necessary graphics card, where we went from an 'old' AMD GTX 550 or 7870 from Fallout 4, to a GTX 960 or R9 285 at least in Fallout 76.

The recommended requirements are estimates of what we should expect. We don't think they are much higher than these, because the game seems to use the same graphics engine as Fallout 4.

Fallout 76 launches on October 23 for XBOX One, Playstation 4, and PC.
