Happy New Year 2019! Hardware summary 2018!

First I have to thank you for your trust in following our hardware blog and accompanying us throughout 2018. Without you it would not be possible to maintain this level and fulfill a dream, dedicate ourselves to what we like the most: talking about hardware and helping each user with your computer or technology problems. And this message is transmitted by the entire Professional Review team.

I will be honest, this year has not been easy, because they have already tried to buy the web, and I have said no. Other companies have come to destroy us, but I have not left them. Personally, 2018 has not been a very good year, at home we had a very scare and I had quite a few difficult weeks but it was fixed. But among the entire team, they knew how to get all the work out . I just have good words for them. I am very proud to have them with me and I hope for many years to come.

Records in visits and analysis during 2018

This year we have broken records of visits, in the last month we have had 2.6 million visits. We have written 6481 articles this year, we have also made a whopping 392 reviews (and we have had a few lazy days in this last week, sorry, but we are running out of batteries) among hardware, peripherals, software, video games and networks. I think that with this data we can say that we are the undisputed leaders in Spanish-speaking analysis. Done missing more comments on the web and I do not know why you do not dare to do so. I would like to know your opinion, really.

Many of you may have noticed that we are renewing all the guides we have, and we are going to do it periodically. To offer you the best information so that you only have to visit it and know what to buy. Who can advise you better, than a website that analyzes one or two products every day. Truth? ?

Hardware overview 2018

I think this year has brought us good products, but a much more exciting 2019 awaits us and with many more novelties. The departure of the second generation of AMD Ryzen processors with the AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, AMD Ryzen 5 2600X and AMD Ryzen 7 2700 and AMD Ryzen 5 2600 has put Intel in trouble, because of its remarkable performance but with a spectacular price.

As a replica we have had an Intel Core i9-9900k with 8 cores and 16 threads of execution. Who was going to tell us a couple of years ago! That we didn't get out of the 4-core, 8-wire spiral on the mainstream platform. How great that AMD Resurfaces as the Phoenix Bird!

Although its price is tremendously high, just like any Intel Core i7, Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i3. As we have asked specialized online stores, and for each Intel PC they sell two. Either you change the Intel prices or it will have a very bad time.

We were fortunate to test an ideal processor for workstations: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX. Its 32 cores, 64 threads of execution, 64 MB of cache and a TDP of 250W did not leave us different. Bravest most impressive brown beast! If AMD accelerates a little bit in its IPC and variety of X399 motherboards, will it dominate this sector too?

We were at Computex 2018 and it has been a great experience. I went with my great travel friend: Roberto, the Asus host (they invited us on the trip) and the other companies were incredible. We will try to return during 2019, since we have seen that it is an ideal option to give you the exclusives and make us know first-hand with the manufacturers.

We were also in Cologne at the Nvidia RTX event with the Nvidia Spain team. Another great experience and we were able to exclusively test the Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti and the Nvidia RTX 2080. We brought you exclusively their reviews and a couple of months later that of the Nvidia RTX 2070. I think this year we have little more remarkable. Thanks Nvidia Spain! Some great Juanma and JC.

What do we expect for 2019?

We believe that during January we will have two very important launches at the graphic level. We also expect the third generation of AMD Ryzen processors (more refined and more powerful), the replica by Intel but with more normal prices and we expect a second generation of Nvidia RTX at the end of the year. Or During Computex? Time will tell, but they are all our hypotheses at the moment.

We also want AMD to get serious about its graphics cards. It can't be that you launch an RX 590 which is a rehash of the higher priced RX 580. The consumer needs competition between GPUs and thus lower prices. We cannot afford to see graphics cards at prices of 1000 to 1400 euros (almost the salary and a half of a thousand Eurista), at least for the good of our pockets.

For our part I promise that we will maintain the level of the web, but with more quality. Surely we will reduce somewhat the news the first section of the year and the reviews (it has been a beating this 2018) for having better content. And I also anticipate that we will have two draws for PC tower during this 2019. The first will be in January (A team to play in Full HD left over) and that is aesthetically tremendous. The second PC still do not have a date but it will be very billet, so prepare.

We wish you a happy entry to the year, that you have churros with chocolate for breakfast and if you drink, do not drive. For your sake and that of other drivers. Pay a Taxi and take you home. ? We see ourselves in an exciting 2019 and with many objectives to meet. A hug!
