The first thing I want to do is say THANKS to EVERYONE for stopping by the web day after day, also to the users who follow us in the shade (you are a lot, I know from the statistics), to the new ones that you come every day to see an article well positioned in the search engine and our sponsors for trusting sending products for analysis. That without ALL OF YOU, it would not be possible for this website to grow.

But especially, to this wonderful team that is behind the web, that every day we try to improve ourselves to become the absolute reference in Spain for hardware and technology (not an easy task). But as the saying goes " He who follows it gets it . " We will try that this year 2018 make the web the first Spanish reference, but if it is not possible, will we reiterate it in 2019?

We wish you an excellent entry for 2018!

2017 started with the release of the Intel Core Kaby Lake: i7-7700K, i5-7600K and Intel's big discovery of the year: The first Intel Penitum G4560 with HyperThreading and which has been a TOP seller in Gaming Low PC configurations Cost.

AMD did their homework this year and in March they released the best processors they've ever released. The AMD Ryzen 7 shook Intel, as they had the best quality / price range for the home user. Finally, we would not see drowning in streaming and multi-tasks to the "tired" 4 cores…

Lisa Su's guys brought out the AMD Ryzen 5 1600X, AMD Ryzen 5 1600 and 1400 which have been a TOP sales in teams of 1000 to 1200 euros and the AMD Ryzen 3 1200 and AMD Ryzen 3 1300X which are a super tough competition to the dual-core i3 (at that time there were no quad-core i3). We also teach you how to overclock AMD Ryzen via Software quickly.

With so much processor and motherboard analyzed (I was already very tired in those first months), it was Nvidia's turn to launch its Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti with its 11 GB of GDDR5X memory and enough power to enjoy 4K any game of the moment. Of course, we were the national exclusive and one of the few media in the world that analyzes the most important graphics cards in different resolutions: Full HD, 2K and 4K. Then came the custom models, we thank ASUS, Aorus, MSI and KFA2 for sending us their charts and being able to compare them against the Founders Edition and their more direct competitors.

Then we had the launch of the enthusiastic platform (LGA 2066) Intel Core i9-7900X, i7-7820X / 7800X and the quad-core Kaby Lake-X. This platform had a lot of expectation, this server bought the 7900X (and maintains it) and we got our own guide on how to overclock Intel Skylake Lake-X and Kaby Lake-X step by step (Thanks to our IGB compi).

During August we analyzed the AMD RX VEGA 64 and AMD RX VEGA 56 very expressly. And we were able to conclude that it did not meet the expected expectations: we finally have a GPU with a lot of consumption, high temperatures and hard work for AMD… there is still enough to fine-tune to try to catch Nvidia, although the RX VEGA 56 was saved from the burning While at the end of September we were one of the few media in the world to analyze the ASUS RX VEGA 64 Strix and see that it is a good graphics card but that RX VEGA lacks a lot of debugging under drivers.

A week later we were able to take out (again expressly) the review of the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X and the AMD Ryzen 1920X (I was on vacation for a few days…). Seeing that they are a super direct competition to the new Intel Core Skylake-X: i9-7900X & CO. The positive is that its price is considerably lower than INTEL and its performance is brutal. Although it will be necessary to see how many BIOS updates will be released on the go by the manufacturers on their X399 motherboards. We still do not know if we will see a new revision during 2018 and if they fix their compatibility problems with DDR4 memories at once.

I was with our collaborator (and one of my best friends) Roberto Luque (VR, Smartphone, etc specialist) at the Intel Spain event, who gave us some information about Intel Coffe Lake, which we later had the national exclusive on his i7 -8700K, i5-8600K and the i5-8400. And where do we repeat at the Barcelona Games World 2017, another unique event?

We have also tested the Intel Physical i9-7980XE with 18 physical cores and 36 threads running alongside the new and super interesting 8 GB GDDR5 Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti. In addition, you have had your dose of monitors, refrigerations, peripherals, software, smartphone and much more! You can't complain! Undoubtedly, 2017 has been the best of this decade in launch!

A before and after + Statistics

As some of you may know at the end of 2016 I left my job to dedicate myself, finally, to the web 100% . A somewhat risky personal decision, since he was in a good company, with an indefinite contract and a fairly decent salary . But the biggest problem was that the options to move up to a higher position were slim, and that monotony is not compatible with me today. For this reason, I launched into this new very personal project and above all that I enjoy doing what I like. Neither do I want to tell you much about my life, so let's make a summary of this year.

The website has grown more than 50% of traffic compared to 2016, we are already at 2 million visits per month and we have positioned ourselves as a website (not as a computer forum - although everything will work) in the second most important medium in Spain gaming hardware and peripherals. We have released a total of 360 reviews this year, 4, 629 articles between news - tutorials (Juan, Eder, José Alfocea, Gustavo and server we are quite to blame for this), a lot of raffles and we have begun to give our little tips on youtube although, for lack of time not with the content or quality that I would like.

One of this year's discoveries has been telegram. Where we have one of the most active Spanish-speaking hardware channels and groups and we invite you to sign up. Thanks to this “social network” I have been able to meet incredible people who always have quick feedback to improve videos / web / analysis… Chapó!

It has been a hard battle, almost no weekend I have been able to rest: working on analysis, organizing work, maintaining and improving the website, which as you well know we have a new design (released a few months ago) and many more tasks that do not they look in the gallery. All this has paid off and in this next year there will be many surprises. What do you expect I would like to know your opinion.

Surely during 2018 we will see AMD Ryzen 2, APUS with IGP VEGA, surely a new mainstream platform from Intel, the departure of Nvidia Volta and AMD RX VEGA 2. In addition to all the launches of CES 2018 and Computex 2018 (Except for a global catastrophe, we will go and give a presence in Taiwan). Without further ado, I say goodbye wishing a great 2018 entry and I hope you will be more active in the comments and join all the raffles.
