Filtered the snapdragon 865, 20% more powerful than the snapdragon 855

Just before Qualcomm's annual Snapdragon Tech Summit event , the specs for the Snapdragon 865 have been leaked, reportedly showing performance differences from the company's Snapdragon 855. While these differences may not seem like much, there are other features that manufacturers may find extremely useful as we get closer to the early 2020s.

The specifications of the Snapdragon 865 speak about the Adreno 650. According to a tipster from Weibo, the GPU will have a clock speed of 587MHz, and the improvement in architecture means a 17-20 percent performance increase over the Snapdragon GPU. Although 855 may not be powerful enough to outperform the A13 Bionic.

Unfortunately, the tipster does not reveal the performance differences between the Snapdragon 855 Plus and the Snapdragon 865. Observing the small improvements it has compared to the Snapdragon 855, the Adreno 650 would not have a significant improvement in performance compared to the Adreno 640. The CPU of the Snapdragon 865, would have a Kryo Gold core that runs at a frequency of 2.84 GHz (based on the Cortex-A77), 3 Kryo Gold cores running at 2.42 GHz (based on the Cortex-A77) and 4 Kryo Silver cores running at 1.80GHz (based on the Cortex- A55).

Qualcomm is said to launch two 4G and 5G variants of the Snapdragon 865, which apparently have the internal code 'Kona' and 'Huracan'. One of them will natively support 5G, while the other will not have the built-in Snapdragon X55 modem. The non-5G version is most likely the cheapest.
