The world of processors is mostly dominated by Qualcomm, thanks to its Snapdragon processors. MediaTek is a competitor, although the company has opted to focus on the mid and low range since it is impossible for them to compete with Qualcomm. Although, there is a major competitor in the market and it is Kirin. Huawei's processors are getting better. Proof of this is the Kirin 970.
Kirin 970 is more powerful than Snapdragon 845
It is the new high-end processor of the Chinese brand. A processor that according to a benchmark that has been leaked is more powerful than Snapdragon 845. So it undoubtedly makes clear the enormous work that Huawei is doing in the processors section.
Kirin 970 outperforms Snapdragon 845
In the image above you can see a benchmark of the Huawei processor. It measures its power and these values are higher than what the Qualcomm processor has obtained. So, on paper at least, this processor is more powerful. Good news for the company, which undoubtedly rewards its efforts in the field of processors.
The problem with this benchmark is that it doesn't measure the Kirin 970's performance in real life. So things may change in operation. But, its performance is unlikely to get too bad once it is in normal operation.
