Second generation Ryzen prices leaked, cheaper than expected

Second-generation Ryzen processors will be a slight upgrade from the original models, with a more advanced memory controller, and higher operating frequencies thanks to GlobalFoundries' 12nm manufacturing process.

Prices for AMD's second-generation Ryzen have been leaked today, with four models ranging from the Ryzen 5 2600 / 2600X 6-core to the Ryzen 2700 and 2700X eight-core. Unlike the first generation, all of these processors will ship with a standard heatsink, adding great extra value. Prices have been leaked by Amazon, and are much more affordable than the original Ryzen at launch.
The prices listed have been as follows:

They are very similar prices to those of the Core i5 and Core i7 of Intel, with the extra value on the part of AMD to offer a greater number of processing cores. Intel has taken the batteries with Coffee Lake, offering up to 50% more cores and threads than in previous generations, which has caused AMD to also have to adjust the prices of its new silicons, blessed competition.
