CompuLab Announces Fitlet2 with Intel Apollo Lake

Fitlet2 is the latest CompuLab product with a size of only 112mm × 84mm × 25mm and based on an aluminum chassis that helps to more efficiently dissipate the heat generated by its components when they are operating at full capacity. This is in addition to the high energy efficiency of Apollo Lake processors, so we have a totally passive equipment without fans.

Intel Gemini Lake SoCs support 10-bit VP9 hardware decoding

CompuLab describes its Fitlet2 as a system designed for the Internet of Things, although the Apollo Lake platform offers a more than sufficient level of performance for day-to-day tasks, so we are facing a more than competent system for non-enthusiastic users. The computer supports a maximum of 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and can use storage in the form of an M.2 disk with SATA interface, a traditional 2.5-inch disk or eMMC storage.

It will be available in several versions with the Intel Atom x5-E3930, Atom x7-E3950 and Celeron J3455 processors, so each user can choose the one that best suits their needs and capabilities. The rest of its features include HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2 video outputs, connectors for audio and microphone, 8 USB ports, four Gigabit Lan ports and optionally Bluetooth, 4G and WiFi ac.

Its starting price is approximately $ 153.
