A few months ago G.SKILL announced that they had a 64GB (8 × 8) DDR4-4266 Trident Z RGB kit with CL19 timings. They are now following it with a tighter CL18 option. Plus, they're also expanding that high-speed option to include their new Trident Z Royal.

G.SKILL Announces 64GB DDR4-4266MHz CL18 Memory Kit

The Trident Z Royal is similar in shape and design to its existing Trident Z RGB. However, it differs by using a highly polished silver or gold color instead of the usual brushed metallic black.

Underneath, it is still an aluminum heat sink, so it has heat dissipation properties similar to the original. Also like the Trident Z RGB, the Trident Z Royal has 8-zone RGB LED lighting. The memory kit has a unique crystal top design that perfectly complements the polished silver or gold color.

The 8x8GB DDR4-4266 kits are perfectly suited for high-end desktop motherboards that have up to 8 DIMM slots. G.SKILL has validated this kit on the ASUS PRIME X299-DELUXE II motherboard and with the Intel Core i9-7900X processor.

When will these kits be available?

The new high-performance G.SKILL RGB memory kits support the latest Intel XMP 2.0 for easy overclocking configuration and will be available through G.SKILL reseller partners in March.
