The arrival of the X299 platform has meant that the main manufacturers update the certificates of their memories and launch memories destined exclusively for this new platform from Intel. Specifically, we have received the new G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 3600 MHz (F4-3600C16Q-32GTZKK) in a total of 32 GB in four modules and frequencies of 3600 MHz.
Interesting, right? Don't miss our review!
We thank G.Skill for trusting the product for their analysis.

Unboxing and design
G.Skill presents memories in a cardboard box with classic dimensions. On the cover we see an image of two of its modules, a small window that spools the memory that we have purchased and its certification for Intel Core i9 processors.
While on the back we see all the technical characteristics on a sticker and a small introduction of what these G memories offer , Skill Trident Z DDR4.
Once we open the box we find:
- Four G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 3600 MHz modules Plastic blister to protect it during transport.A sticker that we can attach to our tower.
The G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 3600 MHz pack consists of a total of four DDR4 modules of 8 GB each, making a total of 32 GB. They are proven to run at a maximum frequency of 3600 Mhz and a CL16 latency (16-16-16-36) with a voltage ranging from 1.35 v. All this with full full compatibility on the Z270 and X299 platform with the Intel XMP 2.0 profile.
Without a doubt we are facing one of the best RAM memory currently on the market. At least for the X299 platform, will it be worth acquiring so much speed? We recommend that you take a look at this comparison DDR4 2133 vs 3600 MHz.
In early May we tested the Trident Z DDR4 RGB, which we loved with its effects. We already know the design when passing several modules with different speeds, but never as high as this kit. Specially made for enthusiastic users and overclockers, they will offer us the most that the current standard can support.
They are also considered high-profile memories for their 44mm height and brushed black aluminum heatsink. Although our version is the complete black, there are many combinations: black / black, black / gray, black / yellow, black / orange and their equivalents in silver gray .
We cannot forget that there are variants of up to 4000 and 5000 MHz with a maximum capacity of up to 128 GB. Although for use by the gamer or designer user who does not need many resources with 16 and 32 GB, it works well. Even if you want to cure in health with 64 GB (especially workstation) they are a very good amount of memory.

We have used a top of the range X299 motherboard and an i7-7800X processor that we have recently purchased for our test bench. All the results have been passed with the 3600 MHz profile and applying a voltage of 1.35V in its Quad Channel mode. Let's see the results obtained!
Final words and conclusion about G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 3600 MHz
The G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 3600 MHz is one of the best DDR4 memory kits for socket 2066 that we have tested as it has all the ingredients to succeed: low latencies, high speed, efficient dissipation, heatsink quality, XMP 2.0 profile and Quad Channel compatible.
In our tests we confirmed that the read / write bandwidth increases a lot (check the AIDA64 screenshots), although in cinebench the differences are hardly appreciated . We have also tried playing and the truth is that we have not noticed almost any improvement… just some more FPS, but nothing differential.
We recommend reading the best DDR4 RAM on the market
Its price in online stores ranges from approximately 450 euros and its availability at the moment is limited. You can always check with your trusted store, which can surely distribute the model you need. But without a doubt, a 100% recommended kit.
