The Memories G.Skill Trident Z Royal comes with a luxurious presentation to match the best pieces of jewelry. The manufacturer has opted for a totally black cardboard box, inside which the memories come perfectly protected by dense pieces of foam, and with a G.Skill sticker for us to put on our PC. We also find the documentation, which includes the lifetime warranty card of these advanced memories. Finally, we see a small cloth to clean the memories when they are dirty.

G.Skill Trident Z Royal is the latest addition to the Trident Z flagship family, featuring a crown jewel design. G.Skill announced that his new Trident Z Royal is officially ready to go out into the world and dazzle us all. G.Skill decorated your Trident Z Royal RAM with brushed aluminum heatsinks that come in either gold or silver.

The manufacturer has attached a very soft cloth to clean the surface of the heatsinks , with this they will always be shiny and we will not damage their 'precious' appearance.

But this heatsink hides more details, such as a crystalline light bar that will give a spectacular look inside our PC. RGB LED light emits from this crystal structure from eight light zones that can be controlled with the software provided by G.Skill or with compatible manufacturers and their RGB systems: Asus by Aura, for example.

The clock speed in the fastest Trident Z Royal kits sits at a speed of 4, 600 MHz. However, slower kits with clock speeds as low as 3, 000MHz will also be released for those who love the exterior design of RAM, but can't afford the ultra-fast speed.

The G.Skill Trident Z Royal RAM will be sold in kits ranging from 16 GB to 128 GB, so there will be no problems to adapt to the needs of all users. G.Skill has not forgotten the compatibility with the XMP 2.0 profiles, thanks to this we will be able to take full advantage of them in a very fast way.

In our case we have the 16 GB dual channel kit, with a speed of 3200 MHz, an operating voltage of 1.35v, and CAS latencies 16-18-18-38. G.Skill has used the best quality components for its manufacture, such as a custom PCB, and one of the best DDR4 chips manufactured by the main companies.

G.Skill has opted for these two units, for memory chips signed by Hynix. Specifically the H5AN8G8NMFR-TFC, we expected a Samsung B-Die to have 100% compatibility with AMD Ryzen.

Although we have also wanted to test how it synchronizes with external software such as the Asus ROG Aura. G.Skill has done a good job with its G.Skill Trident Z Royal DDR4 memories. With dual and quad channel kits, with speeds from 3000 to 4600 MHz and good latencies. Although what stands out the most is its daring design in gold or silver and the imitation of precious stone.

The kit we have received is the one with the golden memories at a frequency of 3200 MHz. With a Z390 Prime-A motherboard and an i9-9900K processor, compatibility has been instantaneous with the XMP 2.0 profile. We really liked the performance it has offered us.

We recommend reading the best RAM memory on the market

Perhaps the memories chosen by Hynix are not the best option for AMD processors, which are selling so well in Spain, but for Intel they are great. We also really liked the lighting options it offers with both its software and the Asus Aura.
