Will it pass the tests in our laboratory? Keep reading and don't miss our review.

First of all we thank Gamdias for the trust placed in giving us the Gamdias Ares 7 Color Essential Combo for their analysis:

Gamdias Ares 7 Color Essential Combo: Technical Characteristics

Gamdias Ares 7 Color Essential Combo: unboxing and design

The Gamdias Ares 7 Color Essential Combo keyboard and mouse combo comes in a cardboard box with a very striking and colorful design that follows the usual aesthetics of the brand with a predominance of black and white colors. On the front we see the logo of the brand along with an image of the keyboard and mouse along with the most important specifications. On the back are detailed all the specifications of the two products in various languages including Spanish. We open the box and find the keyboard and mouse protected by two individual plastic bags and a rather large piece of cardboard that prevents them from moving before taking them out. A very remarkable presentation that shows the great care that this brand puts in all its products so that they reach the hands of the final consumer in the best possible condition.

First of all we look at the keyboard that presents a design in black and quite attractive. Its dimensions are 477 x 185 x 29.5 mm and its weight is 910 grams, so we are dealing with a keyboard that is quite heavy to be made of membrane, some compact mechanical keyboards are very close to the weight of this unit. The keyboard stands out mainly for its advanced Neon Light Spectrum lighting system in 7 colors with which we can give it a personal touch.

As we have said before, this keyboard has a membrane mechanism that allows it to offer a very quiet operation and a very aggressive price. There are many membrane keyboards and for all tastes, this one in particular presents a soft touch on its keys that I personally liked a lot. The membranes offer a useful life of 10 million keystrokes, so in this sense there is nothing to object to, although logically a mechanical keyboard will have a much longer duration.

We are in front of a full keyboard with a numeric keypad, let's be honest, and in which we also find 11 multimedia hotkeys and 19-key N-Key Rollover so that we do not have problems in our favorite games, let's not forget that it is a keyboard mainly intended for the most gamers. Also thinking of gamers we find the gaming function that disables the Windows key to avoid accidental minimizations while we play. Finally we highlight its USB connection with a 1.5 meter cable and the gold plated connector.

We now look at the Erebos LE optical mouse which features a sensor with four modes of operation at 800/1200/200 and 32000 DPI that we can adjust on the fly thanks to the presence of a dedicated button on its top. Next to the mentioned button to change the DPI we find the wheel that has a very pleasant touch and is quite precise on the move. Like all mice, it has two large main buttons on the top, both have a pleasant touch and a good feeling when pressed. this wheel is part of the mouse's seven-color lighting system

Now we look at the right side of the mouse and we find two additional buttons that will serve us for such aided functions as going back and forth in the browser and of course to have two quick actions in our games. The buttons are perhaps what I liked least about the mouse since they are not the most solid we have seen although they do not seem bad at all.

Finally we see the left side that is completely free, the back that presents a brand logo that is screen printed so it is NOT part of the mouse lighting and the lower part where the sensor is logically located.

WE RECOMMEND YOU New fans and liquid AIO Gamdias AEOLUS P1 and CHIOME M1-240C

Final words and conclusion

The Gamdias line of peripherals is one of the most interesting ranges that we can find in the Spanish market today with products for all budgets and tastes. Despite the adjusted price of this Gamdias Ares 7 Color Essential Combo combo, it does NOT sacrifice an iota of the basic functionalities necessary for a player who is starting out in this world. It is a membrane keyboard that implants a design with a 7-color configurable LED backlight, gaming keys and eleven multimedia keys that once turned on gives a presence that is very pleasing to the eye. Along with this, a 6-button mouse, a laser sensor configurable in 800/1200/200 and 32000 DPI and an LED lighting system in the same seven colors that maintains the brand's aesthetics.

The Gamdias Ares 7 Color set is for sale for an approximate price of 30 euros, being one of the best options on the market for demanding users who are looking for excellent features but who have a limited budget.
