Geforce 1040 is a reality, it will come equipped on the ideapad 320s
Table of contents:
NVIDIA GeForce 1040 seems to be a reality and very soon we will have it among us. The launch of this new graphics card has surprised since it was known today that the Lenovo IdeaPad 320S laptop will carry one of these GPUs inside, which would have a performance very similar to that of the GTX 950M.
Lenovo IdeaPad 320S will be the first laptop to equip the NVIDIA GeForce 1040
The birth of this new graphics card, in principle only for laptops, would aim to update those low-end laptops and perhaps make the leap to the desktop in the future for the entry-level sector. The name of NVIDIA GeForce 1040 is not the definitive one that it will have and it is also possible that it ends up being called MX 140.
What is confirmed is its presence in the 15-inch Lenovo IdeaPad 320S laptop, which comes equipped with an i5-8250U processor, plus an 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage. The GeForce 1040 card would come to accompany this configuration, on a laptop that will have an official cost in Europe of 759 euros. As seen in the image of the laptop, Windows 10 could not miss to take advantage of all the benefits of the IdeaPad, along with its 15.6-inch IPS panel screen, which should provide incredible image quality at 1080p.
Will we ever see the NVIDIA GeForce 1040 on desktop computers?
It is not something that we can guarantee 100%, but that possibility exists. Do you think you need a graphics card below a GTX 1050 on PC? Tell us what you think.
