Gigabyte has announced its new top-of-the-range graphics card with Nvidia's Pascal architecture, the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming that comes with a completely custom PCB that includes a powerful VRM and a renewed heatsink that promises to be one of the best on the market.

The Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming includes a revamped WindForce 3X heatsink that features a slightly different fan arrangement being more sunken in center compared to the other two. A modification that seeks to optimize the air flow generated for maximum heat dissipation from the surface of the aluminum radiator. The new WindForce 3X also includes an X-shaped RGB LED lighting system and the logo on one side, very close to its two 8-pin power connectors.

The card includes a backplate to improve cooling and add rigidity to the set. Gigabyte includes various accessories among which we highlight a SLI 2U bridge, a front panel to install it in a 5.25-inch bay and that provides two USB 3.0 ports along with two HDMI 2.0b ports. The GeForce GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming card offers a 4-year warranty by registering on the Gigabyte website.

Without a doubt we are facing one of the best GeForce GTX 1080 on the market, however it is not mentioned if its BIOS includes unlocked voltage to skip the overclock limitation that all the GTX 1080 based cards that we are seeing are accusing.
