Gigabyte takes a new step in the PC chassis market with the announcement of its new Aorus AC300W Lite model, which is prepared for the most demanding users.

New Aorus AC300W Lite chassis

The Aorus AC300W Lite eliminates the HDMI connector plug on the front with the "VR-Link" technology that was present in its older brother, the Aorus AC300W. This port connects to the internal HDMI “VR-Link” port of some Gigabyte graphics cards to make this connection much more accessible. In this way we lose one of the great attractions that the Aorus AC300W had. Another sacrifice has been the Aorus logo with RGB lighting that was present in the lower compartment of its older brother to give a better aesthetic.

The rest of the characteristics are maintained so the Aorus AC300W Lite still has an illuminated logo on the front, it is an RGB system that is controlled in a very simple way using the Gigabyte RGB Fusion software. Inside we find a compartment divided horizontally, which allows us to accommodate graphics cards up to 40 cm in length and CPU coolers with a height of up to 170 mm, with this we will not have problems when mounting a very high system benefits.

In the lower compartment we find the space for the power supply, and two 3.5-inch bays to which are added two additional 2.5-inch bays at the back of the motherboard installation area. Cooling is provided by three 120mm or two 140mm front fans, two 120mm or 140mm upper fans and one 120mm rear fan. Its price has not been announced so it will take a while to wait.
