Gigabyte prepares new Brix mini PCs with Comet Lake-U CPUs

The latest Brix mini PC has a pure black chassis that measures 46.8 x 119.5 x 119.5 mm. Gigabyte includes a VESA mount with 75 x 75 and 100 x 100 so it can be installed behind a compatible monitor or HDTV.

Gigabyte offers the new Brix in four different configurations depending on the Comet Lake-U chip inside. The base model includes the dual-core Core i3-10110U, while the intermediate models come with the quad-core Core i5-10210U and the Core i7-10510U. The highest-end Brix comes with the Core i7-10710U hex-core chip. All mentioned parts of Comet Lake-U are equipped with Intel UHD 620 graphics and adhere to 15W TDP (Thermal Design Power).

The Brix has two DDR4 SO-DIMM memory slots and can hold up to 64GB of DDR4-2666 memory. In terms of storage options, the device can only host a single 2.5-inch SATA III or SDD hard drive with a maximum thickness of 9.5 mm.

The mini PC has a PCIe M.2 2230 Key AE slot, which is occupied by the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168 wireless adapter. This adapter provides Brixes with 802.11ac WiFi connectivity and Bluetooth 4.2 coverage.
