Gigabyte z97
Gigabyte has released a new inexpensive motherboard with LGA 1150 socket and Z97 chipset for Intel Haswell processors.
The new Gigabyte Z97-HD3P has a Micro ATX format and has a 4-phase VRM to power the processor and the socket is surrounded by 4 DDR3 RAM slots supporting a maximum of 32GB at 3100 MHz (OC). It has a 24-pin connector to power the board and another 8-pin EPS connector to power the CPU.
In the connections section we find a PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot, a PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot that works at x4, two PCI Express 2.0 x1 slots and two PCI slots. It includes six SATA 3 to 6 Gbps ports, an M.2 connector and a SATA Express. It has UEFI DualBIOS technology and supports CrossFire.
On its rear panel it has a Gigabit Ethernet connection, three video outputs in the form of HDMI, DVI and VGA, 8-channel Realtek ALC887 audio, 4 USB 3.0 and 2 USB 2.0 and PS2 connector.
Its price should be around 100 euros.
