Gmail will include automatic deletion of emails in the next update

This new feature will allow Gmail users to send emails that can be configured to expire in a specified period of time. This new confidential mode can be configured to expire emails after just a week, a month, or even several years. In this way, if you do not want your emails to be there "all your life", you can ensure that they will disappear.

Another of the future news is that Gmail will add an option by which the recipients will have to enter an access code to be able to read the emails. This code can be sent to the recipient's phone via text message.

TechCrunch notes that it is not yet clear if this new feature will work with emails sent to non-Gmail users. It is also not confirmed that these emails will include end-to-end encryption.
