Since technology has brought state-of-the-art devices, more and more companies want to be number one in terms of what they can offer their consumers and users. In this case, Google, the world's largest web company, is not far behind, as they are developing new virtual reality software.
Google will build consumer action cameras
The company has just presented its new Daydream VR platform, which will work directly with IMAX, which is the largest and best-quality corporation in terms of video tape recordings of the moment.
The information came to light in one of the conferences offered by Google to talk about the current projects and what will be the newest thing they will bring to its millions of users. The partnership occurred with IMAX and YI Technology, which will aim to develop a 360-degree Virtual Reality capture camera that can be uploaded to YouTube.
This new platform will be available for Android devices and will be accompanied by a helmet and a controller. For the sectors where 360 style cameras are already used, it is quite spectacular to be able to observe the results; which is why it is believed that this project will transcend the world of technology in terms of how it can be used.
The company wants to have a cinema-quality camera and that over time the videos that are recorded can become a larger production. At the moment they only have the sketches of the accessories and it is presumed that they would be hitting the market approximately in summer.
It is a fairly expensive project but it will surely be quite successful in the virtual world of large productions.
