Google unveiled the Pixel Slate tablet last month. Now it's finally available for pre-sale. The device combines an Intel x86 processor with the Chrome operating system.
Google Pixel Slate can host a Core i7 processor
Google is offering a good variety of configurations with the entry-level models starting with a Celeron processor , 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Users can also opt for a more powerful Core i7 with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD for data storage.
The display uses a 12.3-inch panel with a resolution of 3, 000 x 2, 000 pixels with a brightness of 400 cd / m2 and an NTSC color coverage of 72%. Like the PixelBook, it has a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 cover to protect the screen from scratches and can work with the PixelBook stylus.
In terms of connectivity, it has a built-in WiFi / BT 4.2 2 × 2 802.11ac module. Also, unlike Microsoft's surface, Google doesn't forget about the USB-C port. In fact, this USB-C port is capable of data transfer, display output, and can also be used to charge the device.
