HP has revealed at CES 2019 its plans to launch a new version of its Specter x360 15 laptop. It is a new version that would arrive with a 15.6-inch AMOLED screen. So we see how the brand bets on this type of screen in a large part of its models. Something successful, because the screen is one of the key aspects in a good laptop.

There are still many unclear details about it. For example, it has been said that it will support HDR, although it has not been specified whether it will be HDR10 or Dolby Vision, for example. We also don't know anything about the resolution of this screen.

As HP has commented at the event, this new version of the laptop will begin to be sold in March or, at least in the United States. Therefore, on a date closer to its release date, its specifications will be fully revealed. This is what the company has stated at the beginning of CES 2019.

There are expected to be major changes to the laptop, for the better, in addition to the AMOLED display you'll be using. But for now nothing has been specified. All this will mean that we can expect a higher price for this new version.

Ultimately, HP doesn't want to say too much about this new version of the Specter x360 15. Surely throughout the month of February we have data on its full specifications, in addition to the sale price. What is clear is that AMOLED-OLED screens are gaining a foothold in the notebook market.
