We were missing a HyperX product on the web and the company has decided to send us its new HyperX Fury RGB memories. This new design incorporates an improved heatsink with a very pleasing to the eye RGB lighting system and with the incorporation of first class components.
Will its 3200 MHz and CL16 be enough to play and work at peak performance? All this and much more, in our analysis. Let's start!
We appreciate the trust of HyperX for the transfer of the product for its analysis:
HyperX Fury RGB technical characteristics
Unboxing and design
As expected in every memory that Kingston / HyperX sells to the consumer, the HyperX Fury RGB is presented in a heavy duty clear plastic blister pack.
We can quickly see what model we have quickly acquired. For example, how are the memories without opening the packaging and its main technical specifications: 16 GB in two 8 GB modules, a speed of 3200 MHz and a CL16 latency.
On the back we do not have any explanation of the product in English, only a seal that assures us that it has not been opened by anyone before. Once we opened the box, we found the two HyperX Fury RGB modules , a warranty guide and a sticker.
Its serial speeds for the Intel platform is 3, 200 Mhz and have a guaranteed latency of CL16 (16-18-18-38) and a voltage of 1.35v. Although we will also find models that have a CL15 latency, they work at 1.2v and have a maximum speed of 3466 MHz.
Its dimensions are 34.8 mm high x 140 mm wide x 7 mm thick. And we can buy a maximum of 64 GB of memory in a kit of four 16 GB modules.
There are two ranges in the HyperX line for the gaming sector. The first is the Predator line which features coolers with a higher profile and are thicker. Then we have the Fury line, which goes from a low profile design to a renewed one with a high profile? This new design is much more modern and more in line with current times.
As expected, it has the Intel XMP 2.0 certification , which makes it compatible at maximum frequencies on Intel platforms: LGA 1151 and LGA 2066. Although as is usual in some manufacturers, they do not confirm its compatibility with AMD Ryzen processors. Which we do not understand and do not share… Always be as transparent as possible with the final consumer.
The RGB lighting band is located in the upper memory area, which covers our future RAM memories from side to side. The good thing about these memories is that they use HyperX Infrared Sync technology that allows the modules to stay synchronized without using any additional cables. It does not have specific software, but it is compatible with ASUS AURA, Gigabyte RGB Fusion and MSI Mystic technologies.

We have used a top-of-the-range Asus Formula motherboard with a Z390 chipset and an i9-9900K processor, which has been a classic for some time in our test bench. All results have been passed with the 3, 200 MHz profile and the applied voltage of 1.35V on Dual Channel. Let's go see them!
Final words and conclusion about HyperX Fury RGB
The HyperX Fury RGB have everything the gamer user needs: design, quality components and high-end features.
In our tests we have been able to verify the performance offered is as expected and that for gaming we always scratch an extra pair of FPS at 3200 MHz. Very good work HyperX!
We recommend reading the best RAM memory on the market
We come to the end of the analysis of HyperX Fury RGB memories. We can say that they are a great option and have nothing to envy to the HyperX Predator series. Currently we do not know its recommended retail price, but we are sure that they will arrive in the next few weeks in the main European stores.
