It seems to us a really strange decision since the new Intel Coffee Lake are exactly the same as the Intel Kaby Lake but adding two more cores, with the i7-8700K being the maximum exponent of the mainstream platform.

If it is finally confirmed… we believe that this is a really wrong decision and that many users will be angry to know that they will not be able to upgrade to six-core processors, after acquiring a platform so recently.
