Ready for Comet Lake ? The next Intel Core i5-10500T and Core i7-10700T are filtered with somewhat high consumption.

The Intel "T" series has always been characterized by having a contained consumption, but this leak surprises us a lot. This time, we know new details of the i5-10500T and i7-10700T chips , which are of interest to certain sectors. If you want to know their specifications, stay tuned to what we tell you below because we show them to you.

Intel Core i5-10500T and i7-10700T: Specifications

i5-10500T CPU @ 2.30GHz (6C 12T 3.81GHz, 3.5GHz IMC, 6x 256kB L2, 12MB L3)

Twitter user @TUM_APISAK has again leaked information that turns networks upside down. Thanks to this, we know the technical specifications of both chips, which was a mystery. Specifically, the leak consists of two captures from the SiSoftware database , showing all relevant data.

In the case of the Core i5-10500T, it has 6 cores, 12 threads and 12 MB of L3 cache. Its base frequency will be 2.3 GHz and the turbo 3.81 GHz. All this with a TDP of 93W, which is quite high.

Compared to the Core i7-10700T, it is powered by 8 cores, 16 threads and 16 MB of L3 cache. Its base frequency is 2.0 GHz, but the turbo goes to 4.38 GHz. In his case, it has a 123W TDP, so we question the autonomy of the equipment that carries it inside.

SiSoftware is a tool that enhances the performance of the computer, which we see with these two Intel chips. The i5 scores 133.44 GOPS in the test, while the i7 scores 151.28 GOPS. Although it equips two more cores and 4 more threads, the difference is just over 10% performance .

Likewise, we will have to wait, as with all benchmarks. They are guiding utilities that can suggest “typical” performance, but you should not let yourself be carried away by a specific score because what matters is to see performance in practice: more professional video games, benchmarks, programs, etc.

We recommend the best laptops on the market
